Miss Holly was a long-term resident of the shelter for just over a year. She had been adopted as a kitten and was returned to the shelter several years later when her owners moved to a new place in The Pas and couldn't take her. She had been in a home with a dog and being
in the shelter with larger dogs coming in to the store occasionally didn't bother her at all. She had to have her third eyelid in her one eye removed as a kitten and had to have several subsequent surgeries once back in the shelter to further repair her lower eyelid. As a
result, she had a chronic sinus infection due to the lack of a tear duct in the one eye and had to be on antibiotics intermittently. She liked to wrestle and play tag with the boys and kittens in the shelter.
Holly was adopted to a young girl as a companion for a
male cat who lost his buddy recently. She has been doing really well in her new home with the male cat and two dogs. She likes to chat and play with her new friends and is feeling great in her forever home.
