Tommy is a 16 year old male Maine Coon. He had been in a home with Venus (another shelter cat who is up for adoption). He was rescued when Venus was returned to the shelter after being adopted for several years. Tommy had been owned by the mom of the woman who adopted Venus until her mom had to move into a nursing home. He was being kept in a garage because the family was allergic to him for a short time until we could rescue him. He was fostered and now has been adopted by one of our volunteers. He is in the lap of luxury living inside now with two 10 year old females who are getting used to sharing attention with him. Tommy is very well mannered and affectionate and likes to sit on the back of the couch to relax and enjoys the occasional treat of human food.
